The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Ueno Station and Ueno Park, making it perfect for exploring the city.
The room cleaning service was lacking, as our room was cleaned only once during our entire stay of 6 nights.

the location was almost perfect, just a shame there’s a wall outside my room window. the odor in the toilet was really top-notch too, just what I wanted for my luxury getaway. I was really hoping for a complimentary upgrade given the price but clearly, I wasn’t special enough. so disappointed, absoluteley unforgivable.

My stay was delightful! The hotel is exceptionally clean and offers an array of amenities, from toiletries like bath salt and mouthwash to the serene high tub, which felt like a personal spa after long days of exploring. The location near Ueno Station made getting around incredibly convenient.
No daily room cleaning.

5 minutes walk from Ueno station, free toiletries at the lobby, modern aesthetic
Incredibly tiny rooms that barely accommodate luggage!!! The wooden chair in the room is just one example of poor space management!!! Room lighting could be much more effective!!! Think about upgrading amenities to enhance guest comfort!!!

The location right next to JR Ueno was super convenient for catching trains and exploring the city. The modern aesthetic of the hotel caught my eye immediately, adding a nice touch to our stay. I particularly loved the amenities offered in the room. it felt well thought out with extras like an electric kettle to brew a warm drink. The Honey Lemon tea available was a lovely surprise and perfect for starting the day. However, the room size was a bit cramped. opening our suitcases fully took some creative maneuvering. Breakfast had its charms with a delicious bagel sandwich, but only one cup of coffee was a letdown, especially since it was so good. I wished they offered refills. The staff were quite patient and helpful, which made the check-in process smoother, but the room cleaning could have been more consistent. Overall, Resol Ueno mixed modern comfort with certain practical constraints.

Couple find relaxing stay
Had a surprisingly well-stocked free amenities bar at reception, made my days easier. The location was a real gem for dining options and shopping, just a short stroll to food alleys.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still within reason.

Just an ideal choice for a transient stop in Tokyo, great for the money. Found it convenient to grab extra toiletries from the lobby. Bring ear plugs to sleep soundly amidst nearby train noise.

Great location and lovely amenities
Our stay was fantastic, especially appreciated the walking distance to Ueno Station and Ueno Park—such a perfect base for sightseeing! The room was small but well-kept and had great bathroom facilities. I loved the option to grab extra toiletries and snacks from the lobby. However, the room lighting could be improved as it felt a bit dim at times.
